Provisions:

Usually, the crew on each boat decides what they want to do regarding food and drinks for their boat. Try to do this before the trip. One can also bring things from home if driving. The crew can purchase soda and snacks as a group and split the cost or it can all be done individually. Most of the time on the San Diego trips, everyone buys food from the deli for breakfast and lunch. Usually everyone from all the boats gets together for dinner Saturday night. Special dietary requirements are the responsibility of that person. Be sure you purchase bottled drinking water for your boat. Water in boat's tanks is for washing and cooking only, usually not good enough to drink. Beer, wine, and spirits are the responsibility of each person - "BYOB". However no red wine on board as it can stain fiberglass.

Cabin Assignments:

Skipper gets first pick of the cabins.

Co-Skipper or 1st Mate gets the second choice of cabins.

The next choice is in the order that they paid for the trip, so get your money in early if you want choice of cabin or bunkmate.

Some of the boats have 2 or 3 cabins. Therefore, you will be sharing a cabin with someone.

Directions for various Domestic (San Diego, Long Beach, and San Francisco) Trips:

Someone from the club will get there before 5:00 PM to pick up the boat and dock keys, dock assignment and equipment checklist from the charter company for all the boats. That person may open the boats up to air them out or wait for someone assigned to the other boats to hand off the keys and paperwork. It is that person's responsibility to ensure the other crewmembers have access to the dock and boat.

Please do not leave the area if you have all the keys to your boat. Check ahead of time with your crew to see who is arriving when and make arrangements to get them aboard the boats.
